Travelers Championship Payouts and Final Round Drama: Bradley Seals It, Fleetwood Falters
The Travelers Championship Final Round had it all—emotion, tension, and a finish to remember. For Keegan Bradley, it was glory. For Tommy Fleetwood, it was another heartbreak on the PGA Tour. But for fans, it was a thrilling conclusion to a stacked leaderboard Sunday—with Travelers Championship Payouts from a cool $20 million purse adding even more weight to every stroke.
J.J. Spaun Sets the Pace Early
U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun jumpstarted the final day. His 7-under-par 63 was the lowest round on Sunday. It earned him a solid T14 finish.
Harris English went on a birdie run late in the round. His 65 (-5) placed him T4. Not far behind, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy fired matching 65s. They surged into T6, reminding everyone why they dominate leaderboards.
If a few more putts had dropped, the ending could have looked very different.
Fleetwood Fights, But Falls Late
Starting with a 3-shot lead, Tommy Fleetwood stayed in control through the front nine. Birdies on 11 and 13 put him ahead. But he missed a short birdie chance on 14 that could’ve sealed the deal.
The turning point came at 16, where he went long, chipped past the flag, and made bogey. On 17, a bunker shot left him needing two putts to stay tied.
Bradley Grabs His Moment
Keegan Bradley, calm and composed, stayed within striking distance all day. On the par-4 17th hole, Tommy Fleetwood found the left bunker while Bradley was safely in the fairway. Yet Fleetwood responded with a solid approach as both players found the green in regulation. Each two-putted for par, setting up a dramatic finish on the 72nd hole.
Bradley launched a 298-yard drive down the right fairway. Fleetwood, showing nerves of steel, matched with a 288-yard drive to the left fairway. From 148 yards, Fleetwood shaped a draw that finished just on the edge of the green—not ideal, but safe. Then came the moment.
Bradley, sensing opportunity, stepped up from 138 yards and stuck his approach inside 6 feet—the best of the day under pressure.
Fleetwood putted first. His par attempt came up short and missed low, a heartbreaker. Bradley had the line. Without hesitation, he rolled in the birdie.
From one shot behind to champion in one hole—a two-shot swing, fueled by nerves, execution, and timing. It was classic Sunday pressure golf, and Keegan Bradley seized it.

Other Notables: Day, Henley, Hall, and Thomas
Jason Day, a former champion, made a strong run. But missed birdie chances on both par 5s and a bogey on 17 stalled his momentum. He finished T4.
Russell Henley climbed to 14-under but couldn’t cash in on the short 15th or par-5 6th. He tied for second.
Harry Hall, our sleeper pick, made a final-round 65 with an eagle and 4 birdies. He jumped 16 spots to finish T9.
Justin Thomas posted a 67, also ending T9 with Hall.
Hideki Matsuyama climbed 21 places with a 65 to salvage a T30 finish.
