Corrections Policy

We want every article on Golf Daily RoundUp to be accurate — every score, name, date and rule. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.

How to report an error

Email info@golf-daily-roundup.com with “Correction” in the subject line, the link to the article, and what you believe is wrong. A link to a source that shows the correct information — an official leaderboard, the Rules of Golf, a manufacturer’s page — helps us act quickly.

We aim to review every report within 2 business days.

What we do

  • Factual errors (a wrong score, name, date, rule or specification): we correct the article and add a note at the end: “Correction, [date]: An earlier version of this article said X. It is Y.”
  • Broken or wrong links: we fix them without a note.
  • Spelling, grammar and formatting: we fix them without a note.
  • An article that is wrong at its core: we correct it prominently at the top, or remove it and explain why at the same address.

We do not quietly change facts. If the substance of an article changes, the note says what changed.

Updates are not corrections

When a story develops after publication — a round finishes, a withdrawal is confirmed — we add the new information and mark it as an update, with the date. See our Editorial Standards.
