The US Open tee times for 2025 are now out. The third major of the year returns to a tough and historic course — Oakmont Country Club.

This is the same course where Dustin Johnson won his first major in 2016. Now, almost 10 years later, the U.S. Open is back. As always, Oakmont is ready to test every part of a golfer’s game.

Although Tiger Woods is missing due to recent surgery, fans still have plenty to look forward to. The field is strong. The course is brutal. And the stories are exciting.

🌟 Big Names to Watch

Scottie Scheffler comes in as the world No. 1. He’s already won The Memorial and the PGA Championship this season. Clearly, he is the favorite.

Rory McIlroy is playing with Shane Lowry and Justin Rose. He won the Masters earlier this year and completed the career Grand Slam. However, his driver has not been reliable lately.

Joaquin Niemann leads the LIV Golf group. He has won several times recently. If his form continues, his first major could be close.

Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka are both former U.S. Open champions. They hit it long and play with confidence. Expect them to contend.

Dustin Johnson returns to the course where he won in 2016. He may be quiet this year, but Oakmont suits his game.

Rory McIlroy:
“You miss a fairway here, you can’t really do anything with it unless you’re in the middle of a fairway bunker… Much more penal if you do miss it.”

Arnold Palmer:
“You can hit 72 greens [in regulation] in the Open at Oakmont and not come close to winning.”
